  2015-2016 Marauder AA Recap
May 2nd, 2016

REMHA would like to congratulate the coaches and players of all Marauder teams this past season for their dedication & hard work. All Marauder teams finished in the top three teams of their respective leagues.

The Minor Peewee finished second in the regular season with 45 points and went on to defeat the Canadians, the Rangers, and the first place Railcats to win the City Championship in a double overtime game that had a full house at the Gateway Arena on the edge of their seats. Congratulations to the coaches and players for their efforts & success in bringing home the banner for the Minor Peewee AA division.

The Peewee Marauders finished first in the regular season with 47 points. They defeated Portage La Prairie in the first round of playoffs but ran into a hot goaltender in the second round eliminating them from the City playoffs. The team did win the Fargo Peewee Tournament and the prestigious Regina Classic Tournament in a very successful season.

The Minor Bantam team finished second overall with 38 points and eliminated the Canadians and the Rangers in the first two playoff rounds to get to the City finals versus the Vicís. Unfortunately the team came up a bit short in the final but had a very good season. The team also participated in a tournament in Bemidji and competed admirably while playing against teams who are a year older.

The Bantam team finished third in the regular season with 36 points. The team eliminated the Rangers in the first round of the playoffs advancing to the semi-finals to play the Rebels. The series was a best of five with the Rebels defeating the Marauders in the fifth & deciding game. During the season the team participated in the Northern Knights Hockey Tournament bringing home the Gold medals.

The midget Marauders finished third in the regular season with 35 points. The team soldiered on through the playoffs in spite of a tragic event occurring with a member of the team and special thanks goís to the coaches of this group. The team eliminated Vicís in the first round but fell to the Rebels in a hard fought five game series. During the season the team participated in the Morden tournament bringing home the Gold medals.
