Congratulations to the River East Royals 8A1 White.

With high octane offense, impassible defense and show stopping goaltending, the white team
won the Red Pool at the Gateway/Richmond Christmas Challenge as well as the Bronze medal at the Dynamite Cup.

Players: Zachary Nolan, Zachary Bennett, Austin Thorarinson, Jordan Kozak, Dreden Rislund, Ashton Mills-Siepman, Michael King, Curtis Rebeck, Mathew Bishop, Mathew Boyle, Dylan Zimmerman, Michael Schmidt, Darian Morris-Izzard and Dawson Kletke.

River East Royals 8A1 Black win West Fargo B-pool Championship
 
After a close loss in its first game in the West Fargo Mite Tournament, Royals 8A1 Black went on to win five straight, including three shutouts for goalie Austin Taylor, to capture the B-pool championship. The Royals met the Fargo All City Youth Hockey Red Wings in the final and won 3-0.

River East Royals 9A1 Black win Dauphin Tournament!

River East Royals 9A1 Black won the Dauphin Tournament A Division championship January 18th, 2009.

The team finished the round robin with a 2-0-1 record, beating Russell 5 – 4, The Pas 6 – 0, and tying Ste. Rose 3 – 3. The Royals tied the Ste. Rose team for 1st place in their pool. The two teams were also tied after taking into account the Goals Against/Total Goals ratio with both having a .667 percentage. The next tie breaker rule was brought into affect which is the team that scored the first goal in their match. The Royals scored first in their game against Ste. Rose which put them in the final against the Portage Terriers. The Royals won that game 4-0 to take the tournament championship.

Valley Gardens Stars 10A3 win Bord-Aire Tournament!

Congratulations to Valley Gardens 10A3 team for winning the Bord -Aire Tournament.  After a second place finish in the round robin, the Stars met the first-place team Champlain. It was a close game, but in the end Valley Gardens came back winning with a final score of 3-2 and taking home the gold!

Congratulations Stars, job well done!


River East Royals win Gold in the Annual Christmas Challenge!

River East Royals 13A1 win Gold in Christmas Challenge!

 After a second-place finish in the round robin (2-1-1), the Royals met first-place Fort Garry in the Gold/Silver match in the 2008 Christmas Challenge. They won 4-3 in overtime to claim gold.

North Kildonan Cobras 10A2 win the Red Pool in the Christmas Challenge Tournament!

NK Cobras 10A2 win Christmas Challenge Red Pool Championship

 After two close losses to close out the first part of the tournament, the Cobras dominated the Red Pool, beating Southdale and Dakota White to take first place and earn a spot in the Red Pool Final, which set up the grudge match against Southdale, which the Cobras won 5-2. East St. Paul 10A2 win Gold in Grunthal!

Attached is a picture of the East Paul Aces 10 A2 team after winning the gold medal at this years inaugural Grunthal tournament. Great work Aces!!
