Direct Entry (13-17) Teams can find their schedule on the WMHA website. East League teams (8A1-12) can find their schedules on the East League website. House League teams can find their schedule here.

How do I schedule a Pre-season or exhibition game?

Each team needs to notify their Division Director.
Please check the WMHA site for Direct Entry (13-17) Division Directors.
Please check the WELH site for East League (8A1-12) Division Directors.
The home team is responsible for scheduling the game ice, as well as the referees and timekeepers.
Contact the REMHA Referee-in-Chief to arrange for referees and time-keepers.

Do I need to do anything for out-of-town tournaments?

You must apply for a Travel Permit at WMHA. Travel permits or Exemption from Schedule must be completed
and sent in to WMHA prior to scheduling each half. Check the WMHA handbook for dates.

Tryouts FAQ

How do the Player Evaluations work?

REMHA has implemented an Evaluations and Tryout Committee to work on improving the evaluation and tryout process for all players within River East.
We are currently working on improving the A1 Hockey evaluations. The A2, A3 and House League Evaluations are currently being done by your home Community Centre.

Who determines how many A1, A2 and A3 teams we have to enter?

REMHA has to follow the WMHA Program Chart when we are forming teams. The number of A1, A2 and A3 teams is determined by the total number of teams entered by an Area Association.
