REMHA Coaching Applications

River East Minor Hockey will be accepting applications for AA and A Hockey.  We encourage all interested individuals to apply.

Applicants will be notified when their applications have been received. The Selection Committee will contact coaches regarding possible interviews and inform all applicants of the results.

If you wish to apply for a House League team, you are welcome to use our application and we will forward it to your Community Club. Coaches and assistant coaches are required to complete forms for a Criminal Record Check and a Child Abuse Registry check.

Team Officials such as Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers and Safeties are required to complete a Criminal Record check and a Child Abuse Registry check.

Recently the requirements for getting a Criminal Record Check completed for team officials residing outside of the City of Winnipeg limits were changed.  The affected team officials were notified that they were required to contact the local RCMP detachment in order to obtain a Criminal Record Check.

Not to be outdone, the City of Winnipeg Police Service have implemented new procedures as of January 1st, 2012.  Residents of Winnipeg must complete their Criminal Record Check online or through a local Police Service Centre. 

Criminal record checks that were not completed by January 1st have been returned.  All affected Team Officials will be notified.

We apologize to those affected that need to follow a revised format.  We have exhausted any arguments to be excluded from the revised process and ask for your co-operation.

Please read the **Child Abuse Registry Check Instructions** prior to filling out any forms.  REMHA can submit these forms at no cost to the individual.

Please attach copies of your Coaching Certifications to your application.

Please submit all applications, forms and certifications to our Development Director.

Marauders AA Deadline: May 1st, 2011
Royals A1 deadline: September 15th, 2011

Marauders and Royals assistant coaches are required to fill out and send in a coaching application once they have been selected.

You may also apply for A2/A3 and House League positions, applications will be forwarded to the Community Centers.
