REMHA Coach Mentorship Program

In cooperation with Hockey Manitoba's Coach Mentorship Program, River East Minor Hockey Association Proudly Presents:

REMHA Coaches Day

Featuring 2 NCMP Coach Specialty Clinics:

• Small Area Games
• Puck Control

Date: Sunday November 29th
Location: Gateway Recreation Center
Time: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM

Schedule:

• 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM - Complementary coffee/refreshments & donuts.
• 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM - Welcome/Small Area Games classroom session.
• 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM - Coaches prepare for on-ice session.
• 9:15 AM -10:45 AM - Small Area Games on-ice session.
• 10:45 AM - 11:00 AM - Coaches prepare for classroom session.
• 11:00 AM -12:15 PM - Puck Control classroom session.
• 12:15 PM -1:00 PM - Pizza Lunch paid for by REMHA.
• 1:00 PM - 1:15 PM - Coaches prepare for on-ice session.
• 1:15 PM -2:45 PM - Puck Control on-ice session.
• 2:45 PM - Informal gathering with coaches/mentors.

• Attending coaches will receive 3 DVD's of drills based on the 2 session topics of Small Area Games & Puck control.
• Attending coaches will receive complimentary refreshments & pizza lunch courtesy of River East Minor Hockey Association.
• Coaches will be required to bring skates, sticks, & helmets for on-ice sessions and pens, paper for classroom sessions.

The REMHA Coach Mentorship Program will be hosting its third of 4 seminars on January 17th, 2009.

Goaltending for Coaches

Date: Saturday, January 17th, 2009
Time: 11:30 am – 1:45 pm
Location:   Gateway Recreation Center, Executive Board Room
               North of soccer pitch in old section of club

There will be a classroom session held from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm followed by an on-ice session from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.

Refreshments will be supplied courtesy of REMHA.
